Meet Jo Daw

Jo Dawe

Jo is our Loan Support Manager and whilst she’s kept busy with loan information and clients, Jo is also planning her own self build of a family home. We’re sure you can guess where she’ll be going to for her loan. “That’s my big project for this year. I am currently sifting through house designs with my husband, I feel slightly swamped but excited at the same time,” she explains.

Jo is one of the longest serving members of staff at TV Financial Services. “I support Tamara by putting loan details and client information onto our data system. My background is in banking and since I started here I’ve completed a Cert IV in Mortgage Broking. It means when Tamara is away, I can step in and have meetings with clients."

Jo has been here eight years and has experienced a few changes in that time. “Esperance has grown, especially in the Summer months when the tourists arrive. The people who live here year round are always looking for loans for a car, caravan, family home or investment property so you meet a variety of people whose financial needs are very different,” she says.

Although not originally from Esperance, Jo has lived here now for nearly 15 years along with her family. She had previously travelled the state with her husband as he was transferred through his work in the grain industry. “I was pleased to come back. Esperance is a beautiful place with gorgeous beaches and really provides a relaxed atmosphere.”

Jo works in a back office alongside Tamara and whilst she does assist with customer enquiries, she’s mainly sorting through all the information provided by clients so they can achieve their goals in life. “Agriculture and mining are our primary industries in Esperance and play an active role in our client base. Generally speaking though, our clients' financial and personal circumstances are different and the variety of work here at TV Financial is what I enjoy most.” adds Jo.

Jo has one young son and she’s kept busy ferrying him to different sporting activities. “Up until recently I was the manager of his basketball team which was great fun. I am very, very organised, perhaps that's why I am so suited to my role at TV Financial.”
