Meet Roxy Grommers

Roxy Grommers

Roxy is our Administration Assistant here at TV Financial and is usually the person who meets and greets you when you come into our office for an appointment. Most clients never forget her because of her memorable name. “My Mum and Dad were both fans of Roxy Music, and that’s how I came to be called Roxy. I was definitely named before the surf brand was established,” she explains.

Roxy started with TV Financial in March 2017 after relocating to Esperance from Perth. “My fiancé is a police officer and we decided to move here for a lifestyle change. It’s a beautiful town and I have the perfect lifestyle. I love the relaxed lifestyle and the people here are so down to earth and genuine, my work/life balance is perfect.”

Roxy has a background in property development, sales and marketing (roles which are customer focussed) and this position suits her very well. “I assist Tam and the team with anything from answering the phones to assisting with finance application preparation and bank follow up, it really is an all-rounder position and I have lots of different duties. I am pleased to be part of a fantastic team here at TV Financial.”

The position also gives her flexibility to take time off to explore Australia and the wider world and she admits to suffering from wanderlust. “I recently returned from a trip to Bremer Bay to see the Orca Whales. I’ve also been to Exmouth to swim with whale sharks and later this year I’m going to the Northern Territory to explore Darwin, Kakadu and Katherine Gorge. America, Vietnam, South America and Thailand are some other places I’ve ticked off my bucket list.”

Roxy and her fiancé have two large dogs, a German Shepherd and Weimaraner and both need lots of walking and attention. She’s also a volunteer with the local State Emergency Service and the Volunteer Marine Rescue, giving back to the community is important to her. “Moving to Esperance and taking on this role at TV Financial Services has been truly fulfilling. My work hours allow me to visit the gym in the morning or walk in to work and I have a seven minute commute to the office if I decide to drive. What’s more I can see the ocean from my desk, you can’t ask for much more than that can you?”
